Math page 139 Busy at Maths
Finding the cost of food per Kg for example a lot of tinned foods are 400g - so if the cost of a tin of beans is €1.28 how much per kilo, per Kg. 400g = €1.28 100g = ? 1.28 divide by 4 to get 100g = 0.32c then x10 to get 1kg (10x100g) o.32x10 = €3.20 LOOK AT G - EXAMPLE BELOW - 2.25kg = ? quarters= 9 quarters how would you get the cost of 1 /4 ... - divide by 9 - then how many quarters are in a whole unit/ kg ? so multiply answer by 4 See how you get on , give them a go. if you are really confused/ stuck..... mark it, move on do what you can do. Send your work in and show me the ones you found tricky and I will go through it with you!

Well done everyone great work going on, today;s work is again a revision of fraction remember how many grammes in a kilogramme yes 1000g
1kg= 1000g
so what would 1/100 of a kg be 1000 divide by 100 = 10g
100g is what fraction of a kg 100/1000 = 1/10 as a decimal = 0.1kg
I have done an example in each section for you see below.

Hello everyone , That was my first time to read that chapter too, I would like you to respond to that chapter. At least a page, Fifth try a page a half . Some pointers to help you - Write, how you feel about the events that have happened .. - Were you surprised, shocked / as you predicted? - Are you happy? disappointed ? - Think of the author, is this his style of writing? compare it to Kensuke's Kingdom - Have you any questions you would like answered? Can they be answered? - Let's not forget war is still ongoing, what effect will this have on the characters.... - Try provide proof/ evidence for you opinions/ thoughts Reminder when writing use a new paragraph for each new idea! Three more chapters to go!!! looking forward to reading your response!
