I hope you all enjoyed the sunshine today. We are moving on to a new topic in maths but the first part of it is pretty easy so hopefully everyone gets on ok with it.
Here are today's lessons:
English/Science: An Explanation of the solar system
Write an explanation with the following title 'What makes up Our Solar System?' This is a two day assignment so you may want to get your research and plan together today and write it tomorrow. You must include the following sub-headings: What is the solar system? The Sun, The Planets, The Moons and The Stars. You may add any extra sub headings you wish I have attached some information to help you but feel free to do your own research.
Maths: Directed Numbers
This is a pretty straight forward chapter at the start. The main learning point that I want you to take from the beginning of this chapter is that you understand what a negative number is. I have attached a short video for you to watch. Complete page 120 in BAM.

Watch the attached video of 'The Sermon on the Mount' where Jesus told his disciples of 'The Beatitudes' each one began 'Blessed are.....' Research The Beatitudes and complete page 17 of your confirmation book. What do you think each of the Beatitudes mean?
