English: Researching an Explanation
Last week we looked at how to write an explanation, I gave you your research material (volcanoes). This time I want you to research your own explanation. You are going to PLAN an explanation today. You do not have to write it in a full explanation yet, this is about research, finding appropriate information and images and planning what you are going to write. Watch videos, read articles and do your research (remember our research rule: trust but verify) You are researching the following explanation: How Are Mountains Formed? Complete Q 1-4 in Activity G in Starlight on Page 151

Watch the video of Amhrán na gCupán, the Irish version of the Cup song. I want to learn and practice the lyrics for the first verse and the chorus (up as far as 50 seconds on the video!) Geography: Counties of Ireland Challenge: Connacht
This weeks Geography theme is around the counties and provinces of Ireland I want you to research each of the following counties and complete the table with the information you find. You can redraw the table in your copies if you wish or type your answers directly on to Seesaw. You can also draw or print a picture of the jersey or flag.

Challenge yourself to master the Cup Song. Once you know how to do it make a video of yourself doing the cup activity 3 times! Send me the video.
