Good morning folks!
I hope you all had a great weekend. Another week of fantastic work completed by you, well done. Not long to go until we take a break for the summer holidays. Here is the work for today:
Reading: FIRE! FIRE!
Read through twice carefully and answer the questions. Attached below and on Seesaw.
Maths: Money and Time
Busy at Maths pg. 146 & 151
Problem solving with money shouldn't be too difficult. Time is working with days, months and seasons, it should be very straight forward. You may have spotted that I have skipped a chapter (patterns). I am doing this so we can cover other chapters that I consider to be a little bit more important. If you like you can complete the chapter in your own time.
Geography: Project
Over the last few weeks we have been looking closely at different countries. We looked a little more closely at Spain and Australia. I want you to do an project, similar to what you did on the counties, of ANY country of your choosing BUT not Ireland. Find some interesting pieces of information. Maybe someone at home has been to or lived in another country for a while. Take your time to gather the information and put it together. It does not need to be finished in one day. You can wait until the end of the week to send it in or if you need more time you can send it in next week. You did brilliantly on your county projects so I'm expecting great things again.
Have a great day!
