Hi everyone!
I hope you had a wonderful weekend and made the most of the glorious sunshine. We have arrived at the home stretch, the start of June. Not many weeks to go. Remember you are doing fantastic work a home. Here's what we have for today:
Reading: Bad Boy, Butch
Read at least twice and circle/write out the correct answers. Attached below and on Seesaw.
Maths: Division with Remainders
Busy at Maths pg. 137 & 138
This type of division happens when we can't divide in evenly. If we have 6 books and divide them between 2 children, each child gets 3 books and there is 0 books left over. However if we only have 5 books and divide them between 2 children, each child gets 2 books and we have 1 book left over which becomes our remainder (Because we can't split the book and give each a half, it wouldn't make sense) Have a go at them and see how you get on. I find using pencils/colours really helpful to find remainders.
Attached below and on Seesaw.
Irish: Skype go dtí an Astráil
Léigh agus freagair na ceisteanna (Read and answer the questions)
If you have difficulty pronouncing the words in irish correctly, you can use the following link and click on the Munster Dialect. Write words individually if there’s more than one word.
https://www.teanglann.ie/en/fuaim
Attached below and on Seesaw.
Geography: Australia
Read through the information on Australia and complete the activities that follow. Attached below and on Seesaw.
Don't forget about RTÉ home School Hub, keep active and drink plenty of water!
Keep up the good work.
