Hello everyone ,
Today is Time Out Thursday with that in mind I have given 2 activities today, just maths and a STEM activity which I know you loved doing! Have fun, and take it easy, lig do scíth!
STEM - rainbow spinner
Rainbows are everywhere these days, as a symbol of appreciation for front line workers and on stay safe, stay home, posters.
It reminded me of these- Rainbow spinners , Isaac Newton was the scientist behind the science read all about him in the factfile in the next few days.
There are two ways of making it here, the first is probably the easiest. if you don't have string maybe an elastic band, wool would do either or an old show lace!
Click the video below, and also there are written instructions attached if you find them easier to follow!
Maths - Fifth Capacity pg 173 addition and subtraction
Fourth Class - Maths busy@maths pg 166 q1-6
Time out Thursday - Amber flag activities please check on school site for activities .
If you feel like you want to do more work, continue with bird profiles and complete project!
Have fun, happy spinning!!!
Have a great day everyone ,
