1st & 2nd class were very busy with their daily active breaks during the month of November - indoor active breaks, outdoor running & walking breaks, dance breaks. and many more..........
Third class enjoying an active running break. This month we are focusing on the Active Break Challenge and trying to take more breaks during the day to be active.
5th & 6th class taking active breaks running and exercising outdoors and also doing indoor movement breaks. First and second class used all their knowledge about 2-D shapes to try to locate as many shapes as they could around the school. Another active maths lesson! We are very lucky to have a lovely playground in the village that we can enjoy! On the way to the playground third class stopped by the river to observe the local environment. On wet days we keep our brains active as well as doing more active breaks such as chair yoga, dance or Bizzy Breaks. Fun outdoor maths activities for first and second class kept everyone engaged and active! Each class full of zombies, witches, skeletons and any crazy character you could think of took part in our spooky Hallowe'en parade around the school grounds. Children busy observing the signs of nature locally......
