I hope you all enjoyed Creative Day yesterday. Today's theme is STEM / Lego Day. I will give you a few ideas of what you can do however you may wish to do something else and that is perfect too. STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths. Yeah I know that sounds very complicated but I will just give you a few science experiments you might like to try at home.
Lesson 1 - Minibeasts - Below is a link to a powerpoint and information on the following minibeasts - butterfly, dragonfly, ladybird, snail, spider and worm.
Lesson 2 - Science Experiment on paper towel colour mixing. Please find the link below. Water moves up the paper towel because the paper is absorbent, it sucks up water. The colour travels with the water making the paper change from white to red to blue.. Colours mix when they are joined together, red and blue make purple. See what colours can be made with just the primary colours.
