I hope you had a great weekend, one that should have been a busy one, with the confirmation , but sure we will celebrate later in the year. We had some weather so hot on Saturday and freezing on Sunday! Have a great Monday!
This week is 'Wellbeing Week'. Each day there will be a theme, today's theme is 'Mindful Monday.' It's important to be mindful these days especially when we might be feeling sad, angry or anxious a little more than usual. Practise some mindfulness to relax and take a break from it all! Fourth.... don't give out I've gone easy on you!!! Just two activities and you can complete any other project history/ war horse questions..
.Activity 1: Maths today - Capacity Busy@maths pg163
Q1 - measuring use a litre container (milk ) or jug make sure you estimate first! How many jugs will it take to fill the items... Have fun with it! (Don't make a mess...!!)
Q2 - similar to what we had been doing with a kilometre.. but now with litre
How many ml (millilitres) in a litre 1,000ml
So 1/4 = 250ml , 1/10 = 100ml
Q3/4 reading the measure on the jug, how much is in it? How much more need to make a litre.
Activity 2: Roll a word
Like the game we played in school, I am going to five you a list of 12 words you can pick your 6 words from that list/ change them up if your playing with someone.
Play on a whiteboard / English copy/ sheet of paper .
Roll the dice - do the task/ if you have no dice just write numbers on paper put in a cup and pick! Have fun
