Happy Monday everyone! Hope you all enjoyed the lovely weather over the weekend! Now it’s time to get back to some work.
Continue with the challenge to come up with two new games to play (details in previous post).
Next week is Holy Week so I have attached a comprehension worksheet below.
Continue reading in Read at Home as we were doing. Along with this, for an extra challenge choose a random page and read it backwards focusing carefully on the words you are reading. Don’t forget to read out loud for someone to hear and help you. Continue with Nessy (details in previous post) to work on spelling and reading. Continue with Ready, Steady, Write pages 34 & 35. I have attached extra worksheets below if needed continuing from work done in class (pronouns/alphabetical order/ dictionary skills)
Continue with Master Your Maths as before. Some maths worksheets have also been attached that you can work through at your own pace. For the multiplication triangles multiply the numbers on the bottom together to get the top number. For the Multiplication wheels multiply the number in the centre by the number in the next row and put the answer in the outer row.
The final task I have added is a “Build a Climbing Frame” challenge. There is a prompt card attached with a few questions to help you think. If you manage to build it, take a picture of it and email it to me so I can see how you all got on.
I hope everyone is safe and well and I understand that some people may not be able to do this work. This work is only a suggestion and if it can be done then that’s great but if you can’t don’t panic. I understand that some people might not have the means to print the worksheets attached. Some of them will be easy to draw out on paper or they can be completed orally with a parent/guardian. Any and all work completed will be corrected when we return to school.
Please don’t be afraid to email me at [email protected] with any questions, I’m more than happy to help. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with!
